About AMP The Advanced Manufacturing Program (AMP) is offered through Ivy Tech Community College in collaboration with industry, community, education, and government partners. The primary goal of AMP is to bring job training and career opportunities to residents in south central Indiana.

Program ContentAMP participants will become Certified Production Technicians (CPTs) with certifications in: Safety; Quality Practices & Measurement; Manufacturing Processes & Production; Maintenance Awareness. Soft-skills training, interview techniques, resume building, and exposure to local manufacturers are also part of the program.

Scholarship-Funded TrainingTuition scholarships, each valued at $2,600, are available to qualified individuals who are 18 years of age and above. All applicants are considered for funding; however, funds are limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis to those who qualify.
